Cati dintre noi nu am auzit de orase precum Boston, Miami, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco sau Los Angeles? Ei bine, toate aceste orase din SUA vor fi afectate in mod direct daca nivelul marilor s-ar ridica dramatic cu aproape 60 m. Aproape intreaga peninsula Florida, cea in care este situat Miami, ar fi acoperita de apa, iar in larg, la cativa kilometri departare, Cuba ar incepe sa semene cu Japonia. Insulele din jurul acesteia s-ar fi scufundat de mult, in timp ce Cuba e impartita in cel putin 3 insule mai mari.

La varsta de 50 de ani femeia primeste din partea barbatului o sticla cu lapte.
Nedumerita il intreaba:
- Dar de ce draga tocmai o sticla cu lapte?
- Pai draga mea nevasta:
* la 20 de ani erai fermecatoare ti-am adus o floare.
* la 30 erai dulce. ti-am adus o cutie cu bomboane de ciocolata si o sampanie.
* la 40 erai fierbinte… ti-am adus o paine calda.
